DAY 1
ARRIVAL KATHMANDU
- A warm traditional welcome at Kathmandu airport. Private transfer to hotel.
DAY 2
KATHMANDU TOUR (B)
- Visit the 2000-years’ old Swayambhunath Stupa (UNESCO World Heritage Site), also known as "Monkey temple”. The temple charms with its great dazzling Stupa, while offering a view of Kathmandu city. The Stupa is the most profound expression of Buddhist symbolism in Nepal.
- Continue to Kirtipur, the “city of glory”. At the eastern end of the ancient city is Chilancho Stupa, perhaps the oldest monument in the “citadel” town. The foundation of the stupa goes back to the time of Mauryan Emperor Ashoka, which makes it about 2300 years old. Nagar Mandap Shree Kirti Bihar is a monastery containing miniature sites representing Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha, Bodh Gaya, where he received enlightenment, Sarnath, where he gave his first teaching, and Kushinagar, where he died.
- In the afternoon, visit Patan Durbar Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Located in the heart of Patan city, this was once the palace of the kings of Patan. The square is a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.
DAY 3
KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT (B)
- Drive to Bhaktapur (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Bhaktapur is filled with monuments, mostly terra-cotta with carved wood columns, palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs, and open courtyards. The Art Gallery has a fascinating collection of ancient manuscripts, Thangkas, centuries-old stone sculpture, antique paintings that belong to the Hindu and Buddhist traditions of various periods.
- Drive to Changu Narayan Temple, considered the oldest temple in Nepal. The temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu and is held in special reverence by the Hindu people.
- Drive to Nagarkot, which is at a height of 2300 m above sea level. Nagarkot commands a classic panorama of the Himalayan ranges. You can see many major peaks of the Himalayas, like Langtang, Langtang- Lirung, Chobha Bhamre, Amadablam, Dorje Lhakpa, Gaurishankar and many peaks of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest on a clear day. Enjoy the stunning views during sunset.
DAY 4
NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU (B)
- Early morning breakfast with the beautiful sunrise view of the Himalayans. Drive back to Kathmandu and visit Pashupatinath Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage destinations. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the trinity and the guardian deity of Nepal. This is one of the oldest temples and biggest temple complexes in Nepal.
- Then we will visit the Great Stupa of Boudhanath (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a vast dome-shaped monument representing the Mind of the Buddha. It is the primary pilgrimage destination for Tantric Buddhists and Tibetan Buddhists.
DAY 5
KATHMANDU - CHITWAN (B/L/D)
- Drive to Chitwan National Park. Check in at the hotel and attend a briefing on the next day’s jungle activities. In the evening there will be a cultural dance performance by the Tharu community people
DAY 6
CHITWAN JUNGLE ACTIVITIES (B/L/D)
- You will be escorted by an expert naturalist on exciting jungle activities, such as jeep safari, canoe ride, jungle walk, bird watching, village walk etc. In the evening, you can walk around in the nearby village or just relax at your resort.
DAY 7
CHITWAN - POKHARA (B)
- Drive to Pokhara, the “Dreamland of Nepal, with breathtaking views of Mount Fishtail and the famous Annapurna Himalayan range. You can walk around the lakeside area and explore the area on your own.
DAY 8
HIKE TO AUSTRALIAN CAMP (ANNAPURNA VIEW) (B)
- Drive to the start of a three-hour hike to Australian Camp. Australian Camp is a famous point to encounter the mesmerizing Annapurna Range. You will pass by a small village house and green forest before reaching your destination. Check in to your guest house and enjoy the peaceful moment there.
DAY 9
HIKE FROM AUSTRALIAN CAMP (ANNAPURNA VIEW) - PEDHI - POKHARA (B)
- Wake up in the morning and experience the glory of the Himalayan sunrise panoramas right in front of you. Enjoy your moment and get ready for a 3 hours’ hike.
- Drive back to Pokhara to continue sightseeing of Bindabasini Temple, Davis Fall, old town of Pokhara and Tibetan Refugee Camp. Check in at hotel and enjoy your evening exploring the lake side area.
DAY 10
POKHARA - BANDIPUR (B)
- Free time shopping around the lakeside near your hotel. After lunch, drive to Bandipur, a small town near Pokhara. Bandipur is famous for beautiful mountain scenery and traditional houses of Newari arts and architecture. Explore Bandipur and rest and relax.
DAY 11
BANDIPUR - KATHMANDU (B/D)
- Enjoy the beautiful morning views from Bandipur and drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the nature views, rivers and small village sights along the way.
- Check in at Kathmandu hotel. Enjoy an authentic Nepalese dinner with a cultural show.
DAY 12
KATHMANDU DEPARTURE (B)
- Free time after breakfast. Transfer to airport for departure flight.
